  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: How can I make the submenus appear much more quickly for the javascript expand menu?They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximately one second.

A: Try to adjust the following parameters:
  var dm_writeAll=0;

  var smShowPause=100;
  var smHidePause=1000;

  var transDuration=150;
  var transDuration2=200;

You can also turn off transitional effects
  var transition=-1;



Q: I create a dhtml menu tabs on a website and I keep getting an error. On my dutch system it says: 'tabs[...].id' is leeg of geen object.

What am I doing wrong? I cannot find the problem.

On the first click on de tabs I get the error and nothing happens. From the second click on, everything works fine.

Out of curiousity, how do I use the javascript calendar function? It does not appear to be an option in the Deluxe Tuner GUI.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.
You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\calendar\

Q: I need to set individual itemtargets for a number of menu items for the web drop down menu?

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

or  var itemTarget="main";

Where main - is the name of the main frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:
