Q: I am a web developer and evaluating your product using the Trial Version. I created navigation bar for our website.

It is displaying fine (centered) when using Internet Explorer 7.0. When I access the same website using FireFox Browser, the java drop down menu code aligns on the left.

A: It is not correct to write
align=middle

you should write
align=center

You should set the following menu parameters:

  var posX="0px";
  var posY="0px";



Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: Hello, I am using your tabs product inside an ASP.NET AJAX update Panel. The problem is, after an async postback occurs, the php dhtml menu tabs no longer show. Do I need to make user a specific function is called/registered??? Please help.

A: Try to call your data files (files with php dhtml menu parameters) once again after each request.



Q: I try to use the javascript menu popups to show an image; then when the mouse is over the image I dynamically generate a panel of http links. It works perfectly, but the problem is that I would like to do the same with several images (for instance 2) and different links : I'm not able to do that, whether I change the value of menuItems   var or not, I display the same link values on both images (it seems menuItems is a global   var and can be set only once).

Have you heard about this problem and could you give me a solution (this is a bit urgent, I have sold this solution to my customers) ?

A: See how you should call dm_popup() functions:
