  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I have another question:

Menu behavior in SAFARI is does not properly work compared to EXPLORER.

If you have a look at the site via SAFARI, please do the following:

Example:
Under menu "Projets" select "par pays" then "Afrique" then "Algerie".

It will then show a left hand menu. Please select "2008/2010".

It will correctly show content.

Then if you try to select again via menu "Projets"; the html menu navigation does not show anymore the submenus. You still need to click a menu without submenus, like "News", and then afterwards you can click "Projets" and the system will again show submenus.

This strange behaviour does not appear in EXPLORER nor in FIREFOX.

A: The problem is in your frame structure after you open "Projets" select "par pays" then "Afrique" then "Algerie".

Your menu won't work correctly with such frame structure.

You should use the following frame structure for all pages at once:

and write your init function in the following way:

Q: Can you resize the height of a submenu button to 22px? (The main dhtml pulldown menu should remain the same height).

I am sending you html files. Please checked it out and is it possible in delux menu?

A: Set itemHeight=22px for the styles (dhtml pulldown menu and sub):

Q: I can see that you can have multi menus on the same page can you have multi tabs?  I did create two different tab menus and when I put them on the same page they display correctly but you cannot navigate to the required web pages.

A: You can use as many tabs on the one page as you want.

But notice that you should call dtabs.js file on each page only once.
There is no need to call it several times on the one page.

Q: When I maximize the screen the popup windows appear to open below taskbar.
Is there a setting to correct this so that windows always appear above the cascading navigation bar?

A: You should set the following parameter to show submenus above the top items:

  var subMenuVAlign="bottom";

But notice that if there will be no enough space above the menu your submenus will be
shown under the menu.
