  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: Is there a way to make the vertical drop down menu dhtml not reset after a link is clicked. Now every time I click a link in the tree menu it takes me to the linked page but all the menus re-expand.

A: When user clicks the link, the browser loads a new page and the script re-create the vertical drop down menu dhtml.
If you want to open the needed section automatically on load you can use the following:

1. Save the state to cookies

I'm trying to rebuild my menu like this one

I have a problem. In my case, I have some really long labels and some short ones. In some cases my text is larger than the button (see attachment). In your example all the buttons have the same width. Is it possible to have a Vista styled menu with different width for the buttons?

A: See images in Vista Templates have the fixed width and height (92 x 21).

If you want to change items' width/height you should change images.

You can do it in any graph editor, for example in Adobe PhotoShop.

You should also change items width in your Individual Item Style.

A: This Tabs menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only.
If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem.
You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters
(  var bselectedItem and   var   var bselectedSmItem) or using any server-side script (php, asp, etc.)

Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

If your site is written on PHP you can set "bselectedItem" and "varbselectedSmItem" parameters based on your link beforeyou call your data file.

For example, move "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.
