Q: Is there anyway of selecting the tab in mouse over tab menu according to what webpage you are on ?

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return the
selected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
based on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
from your data file to your code.

Q: So, I'm actually developing an application with wordpress, and I would like to intagrate this excellent javascript navigation menu.

This site is Educational, and provides media about TI, for students of the Autonom University of Tamaulipas, in Mexico.

A: Actually we're using Deluxe Menu in our WordPress blogs without anyproblems.

You should edit the php template of your theme.
1. Go to Design -> Theme Editor
Open header.php file
!! Notice that you should CHMOD header.php file to777 setting. Find more info here:

2. Upload folder with all menu files on your server
3. Add the following code in the <head> tag:

Q: How do I turn off the transitional effects for the dreamweaver drop down menu?

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

  var transition=-1;
  var transOptions="";
  var transDuration=0;
  var transDuration2=0;




Q: We have a problem. If the "sub menus" open downward (in a horizontal menu) and there is Flash under it, the menu disappears. It goes BEHIND the flash and can't be seen.

Is there a fix for this?

I honestly don't recall it happening before but it now does. I probably didn't pay attention. Thank you!
