  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. A: You cannot use links for the main items in the XP style.

But you can try to do the following things for your "Home" item:

And create styles

Q: If need to make changes do I need to replace all the files and folder and script in all the web pages? Or are there just one or two files that need to be replaced? Which files or folders?


A: You need to change only your data.js (by default) file. It is thefile with your menu parameters.
Then you should upload this file on your server and may be add somenew images. That is all.


Q: No matter where I paste the script in the html for the drop down menu I created, it shows up at the top left corner of the page.

I would like it to go below the blue banner at the top of the page.
Please advise as to what I am doing wrong.


A: Now you're using absolute position for the menu:

  var absolutePos=1;

Try to use relative position

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="10px";
  var posY="10px";


Q: How do I control the individual tab width for afloat tabs?


A:   var bmenuWidth="100%";

I have 5 items in my example, so I've created Individual Style

];

And assign it for all items:

But notice that items width cannot be smaller than the width of its'text.
So it is possible that you'll have different size of some itemsif your window have a small size.
