Q: I am trying to create a tab menu and I have some questions. I want a tab menu that has four tabs. Each tab is a different image, the normal and hover state uses the same image and the selected state uses a different image. This will be applied to all four tabs. All the tabs will not have any text on them because the image will already have text on it. This tab menu will not have a submenu but will use <div id> tags to populate information when a certain javascript menu master tab is selected.

I am having difficulty trying to create this type of tab menu to work with the Deluxe Tuner. Each time I try to make an image as a tab that image is applied to all javascript menu master tabs which I do not want. I want each tab to have a different image.

Please advice how I can do this.

A: If you want to use different images you should use Individual ItemStyles and assign them for your tabs.

Q: We're running deluxe_tree version 1.0. We are getting the following error:

Any ideas? Should we upgrade to the latest version? If so, what it the upgrade path for us? Will we have to modify our data-tree.js file?


A: Yes, try to use Deluxe Tree v2.4.
See in Deluxe tree you should specify correct tWorkPath parameter:

This parameter should point to the same folder with dtree.js file.When you use movable or floatable feature you should copy dtree_add.jsfile in the same folder with dtree.js file.

Q: I am interesting to use it for integration in some CMS I am currently using, as for instance : Xoops

1. Do you think that it is possible easily to integrate your menus with the xoops database content for the texts and links ?

2. Where links are they specified in the Deluxe Tuner interface

A: 1) Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Xoops extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To create and configure your menus use Deluxe Tuner application

2) You can assign link for each item. You can do it in "ItemParameter" window "Link" field.
