  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: I'm trying to evaluate the possiblity of using your menu in our product. Can we specify our own onclick event handler for the menu item?


A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];


Q: Only in XP Styles for dhtml vertical menus I can set the "movable menu" on ?!
When I save to teste this feature doesn't work !!!

A: You can use movable feature in the  var tXPStyle=0;too.

But to use floatable or movable feature you should use absolute position forthe menu:

  var tabsolute=1;
  var tleft="20px";
  var ttop="40px";




Q: I'm wondering if you can use the Link Item of the Deluxe Menu to have ASP code, similar to yoru FAQ below, only replacing the Javascript with ASP?

If an item of a menu is very large, as "please, select the color you prefer for the background of the image of the photo of your san", as can I put a break line to obtain the item written in two or more lines?, as, for example:

only an item, anly a link, but three lines in the item.


A: Try to set this parameter:

If it is not suitable for you, try to use <br> tags in the item text, for example:
