Q: I am using your Ajax menu and am generally delighted with it. Its ability to load sub menus on the fly is just what I have been looking for.

However, I have noticed in IE7 that it can leave sub menus displayed when you have moused off that particular ajax drop down menu. Can this be fixed?

Also, can you get the menu to disappear when you mouse off the menu, rather than having to hover over another menu or click the page off the menu.

A: See, now you've set the following parameter:
  var smHidePause=-1;

It means that your submenus won't be hidden till you click or scroll your page.

If you want to hide your submenus on mouse out you should set another value, for example:

  var smHidePause=1000;
or
  var smHidePause=500;

Q: I need the links for the side navigation bar to be vertical
and the pop up to come up on the right, rather than the bottom.
Is thispossible?

A: You should use the following parameters:

  var isHorizontal=0;
  var subMenuAlign="right";



Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: Do I need to generate a html file after I create dhtml menu and than work from that file? Or can I just copy and paste the code into my existing html file?

A: It will be better create dhtml menu in Deluxe Tuner and save your menu as html file. And copy html codefor the menu from this file into your page. You should also copyfolder with all menu file and data file with menu parameters into the same folder with you html page.
