  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I am using your product for a website. It seems that I am getting a Javascript error, particularly when accessing any of thedropdown menus. The details of this error message reference either"line 1" or "line 8".

Please let me know what the issue is asap as my client is anxiousto go live with this and needs to be resolved!!!!!


A: You should check your dmWorkPath parameter. You should write itcorrectly.
You should also check that you copy all dmenu_xx.js files in the samefolder with dmenu.js file.

Please, set also the following parameter:
  var itemBorderWidth="0";

This parameter cannot be empty.


Q: On the left menuline under the a1 link, shall appear the javascript menu div, but after several refreshes, nothing happens.
On the local computer, the javascript menu div is working perfectly!

Can you send me instructions, why this problem appears?

A: You've placed the javascript menu div in

<TD class=sidebar vAlign=top width=160>

tag with the following styles:

.sidebar TR {
DISPLAY: none! important
}
TD.sidebar IMG {
DISPLAY: none
}
.sidebar TABLE TR TD IMG {
DISPLAY: none
}
.sidebar TABLE TR TD {
DISPLAY: none}

That's why you cannot see the javascript menu div. Delete "DISPLAY: none" propertyfrom the style.



Q: My name is Wayne Dekmar, I am a registered user. I have a question when using your javascript browser menu with Frames. In the Item Parameter box, Link, I would select the page that I want open. Target, would I select custom then add below : Target='main'. Is this correct? Can you give me an example of how to do this.

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="main";

Where main - is the name of the frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: I have 2 questions about this script I would like to find out before purchasing:

1. Does it support 3rd and 4th level java script navigation menu?
2. How customizable is it style-wise, meaning, I have images I want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. Any way I can achieve this?

A: 1) Yes, you can add as many levels in the java script navigation menu as you want.

2) Actually you can create any java script navigation menu with Deluxe Menu. You can use Individual Styles tocreate your menu. For example:
