Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.

Q: My site requires me to regularly update the drop down menu by inserting a new item at the top of the list.


A: Add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.

iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
This parameter has the same structure as an item in menuItems array.
You can assign parameters of another existent item of the menu
(for example, when you want to create a duplicate of the existent item) or create new ones.

Structure of iParams:
[item_text, link, icon_normal, icon_over, tip, target, individual_style_index, jsFilename]
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

Q: When I purchse your software/license, does this include any future updates?
Minor/Major?

I checked your site and FAQ but couldn't see any mention of this.

Any information would be appreciated.


A: All minor upgrades you'll get for free (for example, 1.5->1.7).
All major upgrades you'll get for free during 1 year (for example, 1.7->2.0).

For example, if there's some major upgrades (1.7 -> 2.0 -> 4.0)you'll get them for free during one year.

But if there'll be no major upgrades during some period (1.72 -> 1.81 -> 1.92). And after 3 year, for example, there will be major upgrade to 2.0. So you can upgrade for free.

We can offer you some discount for the major upgrade after one year.


Q: For some reason all of the menu items are squished together when I put the js code in my page.
Is my site's CSS overriding the ones set in the menu css? If so how do I get around this?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css


Q: I did not see how you get the content of link value of the tab to display below css tab menu.
The closet I got was to click a tab and havea second window open up wit the content of the link.
