Q: I have not been able to get the dhtml context menu - or any other Javascript - to appear. I use FrontPage2000. Any ideas?

A: See how you should install Deluxe Menu on your pages.

Deluxe Menus weren't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the dhtml context menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
http://deluxe-tree.com/installation-info.html

That's all.

It is possible that Dreamweaver changes some paths, so you havean error in the preview.
On your site or in your browser there'll be no errors.

Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any dhtml context menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML (you can't do it inthe MAC version).

Add several rows into your html page.

Q: We have a query on a navigation that we have created. We would like to knowhowto set the colour for a nav item of the asp drop down menu if any pages in that section are currently being visited?

A: To save your navigation path you should set the following parameter:

  var saveNavigationPath = 1;
The menu keeps items highlighted during menu navigation.
0 - disabled, 1 - enabled (default).

You can highlight menu items by default in two ways:

1) Set the pressed item on each page idividually using the following parameter:

  var pressedItem = -2;
The toggle mode. Sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;
-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, but no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-level menu.
- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, for example:

Q: Will the Tabs Tuner allow you edit/specify the color schemes on the Glass style tabs?
Does this apply for all the styles as well? ( need to match corporate colors,etc.) Thanks!


A: No unfortunately you cannot change it's color.
This is the image basemenu.
So you should create new images with your own color and use them.

We'll try to create more templates.


Q: Can I have the pop-out items in the dhtml menu bar go left instead of right. Going right they run off the page.

A: You should use the following parameter (Deluxe Tuner->Positioning):
