Q: Buttons are working great! Client would now like to have the rollover image stay active on the page they are on. They would like the button to stay white when you navigate to a particular page, i.e. If you click on "Press", when you get to that page, the button stays white, while all the others react in the normal manner. Is this possible?? I have seen it on other sites and it seems like it should be possible. Please let me know. I believe it could be done by creating a separate menu for each page, but that seems like a lot of work. I am sure you have a solution.
A: The menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/dmenu.js"></script>

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: I am trying out your program and it's really sweet. I have 1 little problem. I created the menu everything works in IE7. In firefox the menu is about 4 or 5 px longer. It seems like in firefox there is a border around each top level item although I have set all borders to 0 (I can see that because I have set roolover color of background to opposite of normal color)
A: Try to set exact width for the menu in "px".
For example:
var menuWidth="600px";
Q: I have a popup that in one of the submenus has an input field.
There is a problem – if the user clicks into the entry field,
but moves the mouse outside the php dhtml menu,
the menu can close while the user is still typing.
Is there any way to prevent that from happening?
A: You can make submenus to stay visible till you click outside the menu or scroll your page.
To enable this feature you should set the following parameter:
var smHidePause=-1;
Q: I just downloaded the Deluxe-Menu program. It looks very nice, but I keep getting this pop up while trying to set up my first menu:

access is denied
code 0
with a link to the toolbar.html in my program files where the Deluxe Menu installed.
At this point, I am just trying my first menu - not using a browser.
(I normally use Firefox but also have IE installed).
A: I suppose that you're using Windows 2000.
We have some problems with Tuner on this OS.
Unfortunately we didn't fix the issue with Windows 2000 yet.
Try to delete all content from toolbar.html file.
