Q: Is there a way to center the primary navigation and left-align the drop down for themenu script ?

A: Set the following parameters:

  var itemAlignTop="center";
  var itemAlign="left";

Q: I can not however find the option to move submenus closer together, I have too much ident for my taste.
How can I change that, by hand if that is the only way...

I mean this:

    +    SUBMENU1

I would like

MENU1
   + SUBMENU1

Is that possible?


A: If you don't want to have icons before item text you can write so:

Your items will be closer to the "+" buttons.


Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
  I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out.  Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

Q: Actually I think we've managed to figure most of the below out, so I'd be grateful if you could give us some pointers with the following instead...

How might we be able to include your javascript menu scripts within e.g. asp tags? We'd like some menu options to be hidden from some users, but I'm getting errors when I put asp tags in your data.js file.

A: It seems to me that you have syntactical error in your code.

Please, check that you don't have double quotes in your code. If you have several quotes you shoulduse back slashes before them, for example:
