  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Does deluxe menu have support for Chinese or other Unicode characters?


A: You're able to use any characters for Deluxe Menu in the same way asyou use them for standard html page.
The only issue is that submenus can be shown in incorrect positionwhen you're using dir=rtl for your page.

Q: I can't get drop down navigation menu to centre in the table..

A: Now you're using absolute position for Deluxe Menu:

  var absolutePos=1;

You should use relative position:

  var absolutePos=0;

Try that.


Q: I have not been able to get the dhtml context menu - or any other Javascript - to appear. I use FrontPage2000. Any ideas?

A: See how you should install Deluxe Menu on your pages.

Deluxe Menus weren't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the dhtml context menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
http://deluxe-tree.com/installation-info.html

That's all.

It is possible that Dreamweaver changes some paths, so you havean error in the preview.
On your site or in your browser there'll be no errors.

Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any dhtml context menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML (you can't do it inthe MAC version).

Q: It's me again, I got the buttons to show... Now, looking to get the floating feature to work in the java script menu.

A: To enable floating feature you should set the following parameter:

  var floatable=1;

Check also that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.
