Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:

Q: Is there a way to create a vertical menu in which the sub menus "fly out" to the left of the main menu?


A: Yes, it is possible.
To create vertical menu you should set

  var isHorizontal=0;

Why of showing submenu you can set so:

  var smViewType=2;


Q: The mentioned effect occurs even when the entire page is completely loaded!

As we explained before, it occurs only when we view the page with explorer 6.

(It is working fine under explorer 7 and under Firefox, so you should check it under explorer 6)

Please see the following link with our test page which demonstrates the problem.

As you will see, the buttons of the javascript menu scroll and the text will disappear (become white) while you move the mouse cursor over the menu buttons. It has nothing to do with page loading.

We are using a "Vista style" javascript menu scroll with custom design pictures.

A: This is IE6 bug.

Q: I have now re-uploaded the data files.
The online dhtml menu works fine in Internet Explorer but, comparing the load time of IE with Firefix, Firefox is considerable faster.
I just wondered whether there was a faster way to force it to load in IE.
