Q: Is there a way to hide a javascript top menu options using either CSS or the java api based on the site user?

A: Deluxe Menu supports Javascript API.

You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.



Q: There is a default gap between two collapsible javascript menu buttons. Suppose the two menu are "Company profile" and "Service", there is a default gap between those tow , it is not taking the specified space( for example I am putting 2px gap but it is taking a default gap) Please suggest me the solution for the same.

A: You should use new parameter in the data file:

  var tXPMenuSpace=0;



Q: The menus I am trying to change, it seems as though the transparency is too light. Where in the java menu generator do you reduce some of the transparency? Thanks.
