Recent Questions

Q: We have a problem. If the "sub menus" open downward (in a horizontal menu) and there is Flash under it, the menu disappears. It goes BEHIND the flash and can't be seen.

Is there a fix for this?

Q: I can't get drop down navigation menu to centre in the table..

A: Now you're using absolute position for Deluxe Menu:

  var absolutePos=1;

You should use relative position:

  var absolutePos=0;

Try that.


Q: I just purchased deluxe menu and can't seem to figure out how to get a custom onMouseOver and onMouseOut event to work on a javascript drop down menu item.

Could you please detail how to do this?

A: Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick/onContextMenu event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within javascript drop down menu items, for example:

["<div onContextMenu='your_code_here'>item text</div>", ""]

Q: Is it possible to keep the main menu highlightedcorresponding to the page you are in? So, if you're on a specific page that button on the menu will automatically be highlighted.

A: You should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
