  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I am currently using your free trial version to see if it will work with an application I am working on. I am having a problem with using it in cross-frames mode when the frame that the sub menu appears in has a vertical scrollbar. Basically I have a header frame and a large content frame below it. The menu itself is appearing in the header frame and the sub menus are dropping down and appearing in the lower frame. There is a vertical scrollbar in the lower (content) frame and when I scroll down, the sub menus get scrolled off the screen. This is because they are being rendered at the very top of the content frame and disappear when the top of the frame is no longer visible due to scrolling. Setting the floatable = 1 attribute does not work because the menu itself is not being scrolled off the screen, just the sub-menu drop down is being scrolled off. Is there anything I can do to make this work with my framed application? Thank you for your time.


A: Unfortunately submenus won't float in cross-frame mode. Deluxe Menudoesn't have such feature now.


Q: We recently purchased your full package, and I have a couple of questions regarding deluxe-menu in particular.

1) I'd like to change what's in the noscript area to something other than an ad for you in the event my user has JavaScript disabled. I can understand the copyright remaining intact, however I don't believe I should have to display this to my users in the noscript.

2) I'm using this inside our firewall on a VPN intranet application. Am I going to have issues with the key if the site has multiple host headers and domains attached to it?


A: Thanks for your interest in our products.

1) If you delete noscript tag from your pages you'll see "IncorrectCopyright" message in IE.
You can generate search engine friendly code. When JavaScript isdisabled you will see the links.
Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

...etc.
</div>

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).

2) Deluxe Menus support multiple keys in one data file,so you can apply the following syntax to use the same html codeunder multiple domains:

Q: I need a menu system that can do one Vertical menu example in java and a completely separate Horizontal menu on the same page, no frames. Will this menu software do this?

A: Yes, you can create two menus (vertical and horizontal) and installthem on the same page. See the attached example.



Q: Hello, I have used your menus on a few different websites I have built and have never had a problem like this one. I will be purchasing a license if i can get this to function correctly. For some reason my php javascript menu icons are overlapping or repeating and appearing in a wrong place, but only in IE. In firefox it looks fine....and in safari, just not in IE. here is the temp link to the page. http://www.domain.com/indextest3.htm

Check the following parameter also, you've set it incorrectly:
  var itemPadding="1px 5px 2px 10px1";

You should write, for example:
  var itemPadding="3px";
