2.0 Buttons by Web-Buttons.com v3.0.0

Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The DHTML menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

Q: I am interested in purchasing your product (in particular – Mac Tabs). I downloaded a trial to test Mac Tabs. The trial Mac Tabs is not the same as shown on your website where the “links” appear horizontally under the “tab”. In this trial version the “links” appear as tabs also and not in a horizontal bar under the tab.

In testing the XP Tabs trial, I found it worked correctly.

Is there something wrong with the trial version of Mac Tabs?

A: See, if you want to add links to the tabs you should create your tabmenu in Tab mode.
  var tabMode=1;

You can find all instructions how to create such tabs in the Templatewindow "MAC" tab.

You should add subitems for the items and assign Tab Style for thesubitems.

For example try to use MAC Style 2 Tab Mode.

Q: Your product is great. I do have one question for you however.

Right now the dropdown (subitem) menus appear based on the smShowPause variable, and disappear based on the smHidePause variable. It is sometimes awkward for users to mouse off the subitem menu that has dropped down, only to have it still hanging there. Reducing the smHidePause variable is not an option because then the menu often disappears before a user has selected a menu option.

The ideal solution is the have the subitem menu recognize when the user has moused off the menu, and then disappear. Is this possible?
if not, I definitely suggest incorporating it into your next build!

A: Try to set these parameters:

  var transition=0;
  var transOptions="";
  var transDuration=0;
  var transDuration2=0;

  var smShowPause=200;
  var smHidePause=200;

Q: I downloaded a trial version of your software and I did so because your description says it can utilize a database.

I have tried to modify a menu with my database, but with no success.

If you can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Once I can successfully alter a menu with a database, then I will purchase this software.

Q: Can I choose what items will be expanded or collapsed in the php tree view
when the user first comes to the webpage?

A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

["+Deluxe Tree: XP Style","", "deluxe-tree.files/xpicon1_s.gif", "", "", "XP Title Tip", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Home","testlink.htm", "deluxe-tree.files/icon1_s.gif", "deluxe-tree.files/icon1_so.gif", "", "Home Page Tip", "", "", "", "data-new.js", ],

"Deluxe Tree: XP Style" item will be expanded by default in that case.

Use   var texpanded=1; parameter to expand all menu items by default.

Use function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand) API function to expand the specificmenu items dynamically:
