Q: I now have a tree on the left and an embedded frame on the right. When a user clicks a node, the corresponding html page appears in the frame.

Is there a method I can use when a user clicks a node, the web page will jump to a certain location in the page (menu dhtml hhyperlink)? I'm envisioning using one long web page instead of 30 or 40 separate pages. But I would need the program to work with a hyperlink to know where to jump to.

A: See the structure of tmenuItems array:

You can set link and target menu dhtml parameters for each item individually,for example:

Q: I updated .js files and added   var key to data file.
When I tested there is no nag tag. But the sub-menu no longer worked. (it worked before with "Trail Version" nag).
The status bar on IE shows "Error on page".

A: Please, see menu parameters. Now you have:

  var menuBorderWidth="";
  var itemBorderWidth="";

You should write:

  var menuBorderWidth=0;
  var itemBorderWidth=0;


Q: Hello, Could you please help me with an alignnment issue with my website. If you go to mt website you will see the problem. I set the x alignment to=266 but the y alignment is left blank because I would like to keep the menu centered on the site.


A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div> or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

Please, set exact value for   var menuWidth parameter, for example:

  var menuWidth = "300px";
This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".

Q: I'm a registered user. I'm looking to make a space between dhtml cross browser menu buttons, I checked the FAQ which suggested using ["-"], between items but it didn't work. It deleted the dhtml cross browser menu items below it. I'm looking to put a space between

A: To add a separator you should
