  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.
  • Create separators using your own pictures, size and alignment.

Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\



Q: I am looking to get the Floating to work for the flash drop down menu.



A: To enable floating feature you should set the following parameters:

  var absolutePos=1;

  var floatable=1;

Check also that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.




Q: Using the example menu you have, how do i make the sub-menu for the 'Sample' menu item a multi-column and leave the 'Product Info' menu item as is.
I only want certain sub-menus to have multi-columns. I don't want all menu items to have a multi-column sub.


A: Please, see the attached example.
You should use individual styles.

Q: Can data be loaded dynamically in the free drop down menu? For example, can you load the child of a node once the node is clicked on.

A: You can use AJAX like technology.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:
