Q: Also once you click a link and go to a new page, how do you get the java choice menu tab for that new page to stay the highlighted one?
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: Under Opera everything works fine but under IE the submenu’s are way down the page and go off the bottom of the screen.
A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="PADDING-BOTTOM: 10px;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add style="PADDING-BOTTOM: 10px;"
to the
<DIV class=department-menu>
So, you'll have:
<DIV class=department-menu style="POSITION: absolute;PADDING-BOTTOM: 10px;">
Q: If you take a look at the upper menu, I have "|" separating all of the various menu items. How can I do this with Deluxe Menu?
I don't want to resort to using messages and would like to use the "|" character if at all possible.
A: You can paste a separator.

Q: But one of my big questions... can I use an include to pull the script for menu in?
A: If you don't want to create your menu on each page you can use aserver-side script (php, asp, vb, etc.) to generate html pages fromtemplates on your server.
You can use cross frame menu.
It allows you to build full-featured menus on the pagesthat use frame-based structure. And it's not necessary to insert any code into all the pages -just specify the additional parameters of the menu and initialize it.
