Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: I want the background highlight stay on after the item is pressed in navigation bar script.

A: You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

Q: I need your help. I built a menu with your software, and I followed all your instructions on placing it on my web page, but it's not working. The drop down menu in javascript will not go into its table cell. I have a flash banner in the cell above it, and the menu seems to be behind that banner, but the menu is not even inside the table.

I also tried placing the drop down menu in javascript on another page where I do not have a flash banner, but it doesn't show up at all.

A: You've set absolute position for the drop down menu in javascript
  var absolutePos=1;
  var posX="100px";
  var posY="200px";

You should set:

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="0px";
  var posY="0px";



Q: I am using your Deluxe Tabs software, and I am simply trying to implement your dhtml menu samples:

I have downloaded the trial software and built my tabs, but at this point, all I have is the tabs... I need the entire box under the tabs, and I need to be able to insert my content for each tab.

A: You should specify any Object ID name of the DIV.

See, for each item you should assign the ID property of the contentDIV (see data file with your menu parameters).
