Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: I am unable to make content show for each tab in the dhtml tab navigation.
I can make it open a new webpage, but that isnt what I want.
What I want is when the visitor clicks a tab, then content for
that tab shows, on the same page, and the tab menu still there.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of the
DIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: In our application we want to have the drop down menu configured inside IFrame but still visible on the page. Currently the menu slides down inside the iframe,
Is this scenario configurable.


A: Deluxe Menu don't work with <IFrame> objects. They work with<frameset> objects only.
All they can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.


Q: After much coming and going I have finally got De Luxe menu to work with Firefox 2

But the menu system on the exact same htm page I have created does not show up in IE7.

Is this a known problem?

A: Try to set the exact width for the menu,

Q: Hi there. I need to be able to customize the x & y coordinates of each submenu in the javascript horizontal menu. I don't see such a control in the GUI interface. How can I do this?

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to set these parameters for eachsubmenu individually. You can set them for all submenus.

Use the following parameters ('Positioning' section):
