Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: I was wondering how do I add more then five items on the top javascript toggle menu rather then using a sub menu.

A: Actually you can add as many top items as you want.

Use Deluxe Tuner to add more items or add them in your data filemanually, for example:

Q: We are an enterprise license holder and have recently purchased Deluxe Menu and are transitioning to it smoothly except for one minor annoyance; the first dhtml div menu item's submenu always has a gap between the browser’s left side as shown below. This happens for Internet Explorer 6, 7 and Firefox 2 and 3.04b.

If I move the menubar to the right about ten pixels, the submenu's left side will line up with the word "Search" as it should. Every other submenu on the dhtml div menu appears directly beneath its menubar item except for the very first one on the left. I’ve tried using a few of the example configurations but they all experience the same behavior.

The installation is in a multi-framed environment.

A: You should change dmenu.js file. Open it in any text editor and find:

space=15;

Change it to:

space=0;
