Q: I have a menu defined that displays and operates correctly in a page. However, if I place that same page in an iFrame the menu displays correctly BUT the texpanded parameter no longer works.
If I copy the contents of the iFrame and run it again in a new window, it all works fine again.

Is there something special I need to do in an iFrame?


A: Deluxe Tree Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects. It works with objects only. All it can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.
You should use standard installation for the menu.


Q: I have a popup that in one of the submenus has an input field. There is a problem – if the user clicks into the entry field, but moves the mouse outside the java swing menu, the menu can close while the user is still typing. Is there any way to prevent that from happening?

A: You can make submenus to stay visible till you click outside the menu or scroll your page.To enable this feature you should set the following parameter:

  var smHidePause=-1;

You can set this parameter to each submenu individually usingIndividual Submenu Styles.



Q: I'm trying to disable a javascript mouse over menu item using the MS Office style 2 template and having no luck. Can you please provide me a sample of the MS Office style 2 template that will disable an item on the menu by graying it out?

A: To disable menu item you should set "_" target for it.
If you want that your disabled items have a grey color (in css-basedmenu) you should create additional style for it and assign this stylefor the disabled items:

Q: I find your tools very interesting, yet I've serched but found no answer... is there a version of your program for mac?
I don't trsut windows at all, so i don't have ever think about using bootcamp to load windows on my mac, so i repeat my question, is there or will be a version of deluxe menu to work on mac systems?
