Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

Q: In my page are links in subfolders (for example /ergebnisse/2006/test.htm). When I call a page in a subfolder, in first time this page is shown correctly. The next page I call could not found. I belief the pointer is in the subfolder an so the page could not found.


A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Q: I have one problem you may be able to help with:

If I set

The following errors are generated:

_tls is not defined

tob has no properties

and the menu doesn't display.

A: You should use dtree_ss.js file.

You should install your menu so:

Q: How can I use Danish characters in my dhtml menu bars?

A: You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode. So, you
should set UTF-8 encode on your page too

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html"charset="UTF-8">

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.
