Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! You can also define width and height for each submenu.

A: Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

<a href="menu_link2">menu_item_text2</a>
...etc.
</div>

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).


Q: I want to usecss tab navigation menu and i don't have any idea as to how to insert conent?

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes.
Use the following prefixes within item's link field:"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: I am designing a tree menu. I want the text blue on a transparent background. What parameter do I change to set the transparent background in expanding dhtml menu?


A: You should set the following parameters:

Q: Great product and incredible user friendly interface to loadeverything up! I wasn't used to such a user friendly interface and was looking way to hard.

I did have one question though. When I open up Deluxe Tuner and click on the javascript slide down menu sample to the left (with the search box), I get the following message:

I click no, and the javascript slide down menu comes up, but no search box! Any idea why this is so?

A: There will be no search box in that template.

Actually you are able to paste any html code within items.
