Q: A brief one on dynamic menu in the perspective of bilinguism
I understood from the tuner that a menu can be made dynamic (although it is somewhat minimally documented ;-))
Leaving alone all the beautiful sophisticated and complex mechanic of it
Say I have my main menu that says :
var dynamic=1; (that's all I got from the doc ..)
And then
var menuItems = [
["Choice 1 ","page1.php", "", "", "Choice 1",", "_self", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["Choice 2","page2.php", "", "", "Choice 2", "_self", "", "", "", "", "", ],
];
Minimalist ? ;-) right ?
1/ first I'm not too sure about what exactly in order are these 11 parameters although I'm fine with the only 4 I have here
2/ if I would want to change on the fly menu javascript dropdown page on a PHP parameter Page1.php?lang=French (I perfectly master how to capture the PHP value)
So that My menu becomes on the fly
["Choix 1 ","page1.php", "", "", "Choix 1",", "_self", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["Choix 2","page2.php", "", "", "Choix 2", "_self", "", "", "", "", "", ],

To change the menu items on the fly you can use API functions
function dm_ext_changeItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)
function dm_ext_addItem (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams)
function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)Q: I am trying to make the tab menu to work correctly and after extensive testing and I have come across a problem that I can seem to get resolved. I am using images for the tab menu with no text and <divs> to display information about each javascript new menu tab. However while the page loads I can see all the content from all the <div> javascript new menu tabs and when the page if fully loaded, the web page then displays the content correctly with all the content hidden until the correct tab is selected. Mind you this is the only thing on the webpage so there shouldn’t be any load time problems.
Please advice what is happen to resolve this issue.
A: Try to set display: none; property for the style of your DIV, forexample:

Q: Is it possible that when a main button on the home page is clicked and the viewer goes to the subpage, that the navbar will expand to the correct subpage submenu? For example, I click on Agent and when the subpage loads the submenu is expanded under Agent.
I've been trying to get the javascript hide menu bar to stay highlightedwhen clicked on and directed to that page. For example when clickedon Agent, then Agent Home, once that page loads the whole javascript hide menu bar for Agent Home stays highlighted in orange. I haven't been successful, any suggestions?
A: Tree Menu doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API.

Q: I downloaded the trial version, so I’m doing some testing....
I can’t highlight the selected dhtml pop up menu item of the current page. The var ttoggleMode is enabled and
tpressedFontColor = "#AA0000
This is caused by the trial version?
A: Please, check the following parameter
var pressedItem=-2;
This parameter sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, bu
t no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-menu.
The menu has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.
You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
You can also set the correct
var pressedItem=1;
parameter on each html page.
