Q: I have just downloaded your trial version and am trying to use java menu maker using the windows xpstyle1 template. I can only seem to get the top button showing as grey but can change colors of submenus OK. Am I missing something or is this a restriction of the trial system i.e. how do I get the top button showing the same as submenu buttons

A: Trial version of java menu maker has full functionality of the licensed version.

To change submenu colors you should change the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="#F2F3F2";
  var itemBackColor=["#F2F3F2","#535353"];
and Individual Submenu Style:
  var menuStyles = [
["menuBackColor=#F2F3F2","menuBorderWidth=0","itemSpacing=0","itemPadding=4px","smOrientation=undefined"],
];

For the top items you should change Individual Item style:
  var itemStyles = [

Q: I found some strange things while positioning the javascript hide menu. Does javascript hide menu behave different depending on where you are hosting your site?

A: Deluxe Menu is a Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you're using.

Q: I have a website where the customer asks (requested popup) for a onclick popup window so they can listen in to a radio braodcast. i.e. popup on demand.

But, the popup needs to keep working so the user can move to another website without dropping the broadcast. In otherwords If the popup is dropped so is the broadcast. That is my issues. Help! Also, using a standard popup windows doesn't always work Cross browsers and IE works ok but Firefox still allows the user to resize the windows even if you tell it not to.

A: No, it is not possible to leave the onclick popup window after you close thepage with popup.

Q: I purchased your product yesterday and was quite impressed, but I am having a bit of a problem with my submenuitems. In the general menu properties there is a "Global"   var titemHeight = 22; My problem is that I would like my upper level of my free tree menu to have one itemheight and my submenuitems to have a smaller height. Is this possible?

A: In the XP Style
  var tXPStyle=1;
the item's height for the top items and submenus will be different.

If you want to use
  var tXPStyle=0;

you can set ite's height for the submenus:
  var titemHeight=16;

And for other items use the blank icon with the height you want to have for the upperlevel of your menu items.
