Q: Is it possible to open the dhtml tree to a particular state when a link is chosen from elsewhere in the site (not from a menu link)?
A: function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)
Expands/collapses a specified item or a submenu.
itemID - ID property of an item. expand - 0 - expand the item, 1 - show the item.

Q: Hello, I am trying to figure out how to use the Dynamic functionality in the java menu codes. I believe I want to use something like the dm_ext_changeItemVisibility function, and I want it to be dependent on HTML wrapped around the menu item.
Below is functionally how I want it to work:
Show menu item 1
Show menu item 2

Is there an example you can share that does something like this? I searched the site and could not find an answer.

Q: In IE7 I see the deluxe-menu.com link on the top and no horizontal menu items on my page.
In Firefox it will work fine.

A: Your browser has JavaScript option disabled.
It means that no one JavaScript element can be run.
You should to enable JavaScript in IE:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom level... -> Scripting -> Active Scripting = Enable
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

It works perfectly, but the problem is that I would like to do the same with several images (for instance 2) and different links : I'm not able to do that, whether I change the value of menuItems var or not, I display the same link values on both images (it seems menuItems is a global var and can be set only once).
