A: To insert item in the specific position you should use the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0. See more info about indexes here.
iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

A: Actually you can add php code inside menu links.

If you define your parameter in .js file you should write yourlinks in the following way, for example:

Q: Is it possible to populate a drop down menu trees from a mysql database?

Q: I am trying to use the following horizontal tabs menu:

My problem is that the bitebackimage is not showing as you can see in the example below.

All the left and right side images appear, but not the repeating button background. All the images are in the same directory and have the same URL to point to them.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?
