Q: For the dhtml tree that I purchased, can I choose what menus will be expanded or collapsed when the user first comes to the webpage forthe first time?
A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

Use var texpanded=1; parameter to expand all menu items by default.
Use function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand) API function to expand the specificmenu items dynamically:

A: Filters and transitional effects are features of Internet Explorer5.5+ only.

Q: Just wondering if it is possible to select a specificdhtml tab via JavaScript.

A: You can use the following function to open appropriate tab:
Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.
You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.
For example:

Q: Mouseover "QUICK LINKS" at the top. The bottom java menu navigation item is falling behind the mainnav table.
It works fine in FireFox. Any suggestions?
A: Try to add a high z-index for the DIV with top menu, for example:
