Q: I have a problem...
On some computers running IE the menu appears and works correctly, on others it doesn't appear.
There is only a line that says JavaScript Menu by Deluxe-Menu.com.
Both of these computers have the same version of IE running. I have reset the security levels back to default levels on both. Still the menu doesn't appear.
For all practical purposes both copies of IE are the same.
A: You should change your security settings in IE to allow Javascript onpages you load. In other case you can't see a dynamic page content.
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
You can also use Deluxe Tuner application that allows you to generate additional html code for search engine that can't parse Javascript. So, you can use menu links on browsers that doesn't have Javascript support enabled.
Q: Pls help me with another question.
I have an horizontal menu in which the submenus drop down (as in example # 1 you have in your web).
For the first level items (which are horizontal), I do not want item spacing or itemPadding, that is:
var itemSpacing=0;
var itemPadding=0;
However, for the second and third level menu items, that drop down, I do need spacing and padding, like this:
var itemSpacing=1;
var itemPadding=1;
How can achieve this if, we have only one set of parameters??

A: You should use Individual Styles.
You should set the following parameters:
var itemSpacing = 0;
var itemPadding = 0;
and create individual style for submenus
var menuStyles = [
["menuBackImage=images/subm_back.gif","itemSpacing=1","itemPadding=1"], // add Spacing and Padding to the style which is used for the third level menu items.

Q: I am a web designer, my question is do I have to buy a license for each website I install this css dropdown menu or do I buy it once and use it for all my projects?
A: We have different license types.
You can buy Deluxe Menu for the single domain name.
If you want to use the menu on the several domain names you can buyMultiple Website License and generate your own keys for the domainnames.
If you don't want to generate reg. keys for the domain names youcan buy Developer license. With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited number of Internet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.This version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name, so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.

Q: I am attempting to install a menu I've created into FrontPage2003.
I read what the web site says but it didn't seem to work. Any other suggestions?
A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:
1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
