Q: I would like to add the javascript API to a link contained in my website that will have the corresponding item in the deluxe-tree menu act as if it was "clicked".

Presumably I need to add the script (for example) <A HREF="http://deluxe-menu.com/features-info.html" TARGET="_self" "..javascriptHere ..">. Can you give me an example please of what code goes into there.

I presume I use dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion) but where do I get the ????Ind data from and make the javascript call in the above link.

A copy of a working example together with where to get the data , perhaps on your own web pages, would help.

A: Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

You should define selitem using server side script.

Q: Why when an image is added to the parent javascript layer menu (bar) breaks in two...

A: See images in Vista Templates have the fixed width and height (92 x 21).

If you want to change items' width/height you should change images.

You can do it in any graph editor, for example in Adobe PhotoShop.

You should also change items width in your Individual Item Style.

Q: I cannot see the shadow on the top items of the menu. Can you help me?


A: Now you have shadow the submenus only, if you want to have shadowfor the top items you should set the following parameters:

Q: I am Registered user.
My question is:
Can you have borders around the sub-menus only. If you can how is this done, if it is done in the individual styles can you walk me through that. I tried it there but for some reason it wasn’t working. I'm thinking I wasn’t selecting the correct item to edit.


A: You should create Individual style and assign it to the first item in each submenu.
