A: Deluxe Menu is the Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you'reusing and it doesn't work on a server side as JSP script.

So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .jsp page.


Q: I'm trying to have two separate menus on my web page. I read what was written in your FAQs about multiple menus, but the response was too cryptic.

It seems to me that if the dmWorkPath for each menu is declared separately, then the menus should work separately (with no interaction). I did not find this to be the case.

Do you have more complete information about creating multiple menus on one page? I would like to understand the issues.


A: David, if you want to create multiple menus on one page you should only call several data.js files with the menu.

For example you can see templates.html. You can find this file in the trial package.


Q: Ok, please disregard my previous email, it was IE 8! I went back to IE 7 and everything is fine.

I do however got requests to speed up the javascript treeview action (of my 2 out of 2 customers thus far on your menus).

Is there a setting to make it go faster?

You can also try to use AJAX feature. It will increase the loading speed.

Q: I have just purchased your menus and no matter where I place the code, the pull down menu in javascript always appears in the top left of the page, I need it elsewhere obviously but it simply won't move.. How do I do this?

A: You're using absolute position for the menu now. You should userelative position in that case. Change the following parameters:
