Q: I am using your javascript menu over. I have had a report today that the menu is problematic with IE8. As follows:

"A bit more of a concern is in IE8 where the menu does not function correctly in general at all. When you hover over the menu text the sub menu appears, but when you move your mouse across to select an item off the sub menu it closes. "

Are you able to confirm and rectify his problem?

A: Yes, our menu has some problems with IE8, because IE8 is a betaversion and has just a part of future functionality, for exampleit still doesn't have filters.

We're planning to add the full support for IE8as well as for all major browsers.
All issues will be fixed with final version of IE8.



Q: Is it possible to not download (pre-load) the images in the javascript menu array (some attributes in the data.js file ..)?

I would like to download them only on rollover on the submenu... I am aware of the ajax version of the menu, but ....

Q: What can I tell people who aren't seeing their drop-down menu? For example, I have a client who can't see his on his machine, while I can on see the menu on one of my machines but not the other.

Please advise what makes the difference and how to correct the problem.

A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content. So, you cannotsee your javascript menu at all.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

Q: I am interested in purchasing the "Microsoft Like Style Dhtml Tabs Menu" and would like to know if the tab menu horizontal java, roll over and selected colors are controllable? meaning if I want green (not blue) tab I can have the tabs green. Please let me know

A: Unfortunately you cannot change the color of this template in DeluxeTuner, as it is image-based tab menu horizontal java.

If you want to change the color of this template you should changeimages. You can do it in any Graph editor, for example in PhotoShop.
