  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

unfortunately this syntax doesnґt work


A: You can use as many menus as you want on the one page.

But you should call dmWorkPath parameter and dmenu.js file only onceon the one page.

You cannot write dmWorkPath1 and dmWorkPath2. Youir menu won't workcorrectly in that case.

You should write

Q: Would it be possible to introduce more font decoration options to the mouseover variables for the horizontal navigation?I would like to add bold as a mouseover font decoration, but obviously this is not possible at the moment.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You can onlyset it's color. You cannot set the font of menu item bold when selected.

You should addthe following code in your data file:

Q: I have a top horizontal menu with one level sub-menus.

I am using images for the rollover (on & off). I don’t need the generated text on the main menu, only on the submenus.

Q: For some reason all of the menu items are squished together when I put the js code in my page.
Is my site's CSS overriding the ones set in the menu css? If so how do I get around this?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css
