A: Please, send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.

Probably that you have overlooked to add dmenu.js file or images onyour server.


Q: Is there a way to programmatical select an item in the scrolling menu without the user actual click on the item?

A: You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.




Q: I am evaluating your fine menu builder application.

Please let me know the following:

a) How could I call a script instead of specifying a link?

b) If the above is possible, please let me know how, in the called script, I could know where the call to the script come from.


A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]
];


Q: I have noticed in some other jdhtml menu system that when the user right clicks a link, they get the internet explorer link options such as Copy Shortcut, Open, and Open in New Tab/Window. This does not seem to work with dmenu.

Is this possible using dmenu?

A: You can try to write the following code for your items:
