  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: I am using the menu in a frameset, and I would like for the selected menu branch of the side navigation bar to stay highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window (where the menu brings up a new page),just so the user knows where he/she is. Is that possible?

A: If you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:

  var ttoggleMode=1;
  var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";

You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
  var tsaveState=1;
  var tsavePrefix="menu1";

If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:

Q: Is it possible to insert a dhtml foldout menu item at the top of the submenu? For example, if a dhtml foldout menu is defined as:

A: And what exact problems do you have in Firefox? Actually Deluxe Menu works fine inFirefox. But notice that filters and transitional effect are supported by IE5.5.5+ only.
