  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I am interested in your Deluxe Tree Menu. For testing purposes, i downloaded the trial version of your software, but realized that the Textboxes an comboboxes, as shown in the samples on your website, are not included in the demo version. As i am interested in right this feature, could you please tell me where i can find more information about how creating such input boxes in the css expanding menu, and maybe also if there is a possibility to change the menu and write the changed one into a database?

A: You are able to paste any html code within items.

A: Yes it is possible to create a menu for right-to-left languages with Deluxe Tree in the same way as in standard htmlcode.
Please, set <HTML dir="rtl">.

You should set the following parameters:

  var titemAlign="right";
  var ticonAlign="right";
  var texpandBtnAlign="right";

Deluxe Menu support right-to-left languages.
In Deluxe Menu you can set the following parameter:
  var dmRTL = 1;

Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.

Q: I am using Deluxe Menu and I had a question.

When you roll your mouse over the menu items, the background color of that menu item changes (it becomes darker). Is there a way to establish a setting such that when a Menu Item is CLICKED, the color of that Menu Item STAYS darker. This will help the user know which category of the website they are currently visiting.

A: The menu has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
