Q: Is there a way to convert a dhtml javascript tree menu I created into a Deluxe Menu using the same data so I do not have to type in all the names and links of items?

A: Actually menuItems and tmenuItems have a different structure.

We don't have such converter yet. You can try to change your menuItems in any text editor. I suppose it will be easier to convert items in editor than in Deluxe Tuner.

Where can I get a template or instructions on which parameters I ammisunderstanding in deluxe tuner?

I want a menu with the expandable + signs on the left which will expandon rollover and allow only one to be expanded at the same time.


A: You should set the following parameters

  var texpandItemClick = 1;
  var tcloseExpanded = 1;
  var tcloseExpandedXP = 1;

Try to do it in the new Deluxe Tuner beta version. We've fixed somebugs with these parameters in the new version.


Q: The menu maps to the width size of the longest menu item on the list, can you tell me how I can restrict this, and have a fixed menu size.

A: Unfortunately it is really so.
You can try to wrap your text.

You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap = 0;

or use <br> tags within menuItems.



Q: We’re a licensed user of deluxe menu and tree menu.

Can you please tell me how to specify left padding for a dhtml tree menu item? I don’t see any item padding options for tree menu in any of the documentation.
