Q: I'm trying to have two separate menus on my web page. I read what was written in your FAQs about multiple menus, but the response was too cryptic.

It seems to me that if the dmWorkPath for each menu is declared separately, then the menus should work separately (with no interaction). I did not find this to be the case.

Do you have more complete information about creating multiple menus on one page? I would like to understand the issues.


A: David, if you want to create multiple menus on one page you should only call several data.js files with the menu.

For example you can see templates.html. You can find this file in the trial package.


Q: If need to make changes do I need to replace all the files and folder and script in all the web pages? Or are there just one or two files that need to be replaced? Which files or folders?


A: You need to change only your data.js (by default) file. It is thefile with your menu parameters.
Then you should upload this file on your server and may be add somenew images. That is all.


Q: Is there a way with your script drop down menu to make the menus appear to be expanded when on a certain page?


A: No, unfortunately there is no way to expand Deluxe Menu.

You can try to use Deluxe Tree, http://deluxe-tree.com in that case.

Q: We recently started using the Deluxe Menu with Multiple Website License

I have a question when I tried creating a google sitemap xml using java menu creator.

All I get is a sitemap for the home page? Would the Deluxe Menu have anything do with the sitemap generators not being able to crawl all the other pages on the site?

A: Deluxe Menu will generate sitemap using links in your menu only.
