Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:

If I click on test1 which is a Norwegian newspaper, it works.

But it I click on test2 which is a link to my page – it does not work.

A: You cannot use "" symbols within menuItems. It is not correct.
Try to write your javascript drop down menu items in the following way:

Q: I have heard from some page visitors, that they couldn’t see the menu. Could this be a problem with deactivated Java script or could you tell me some possibilities what it could be.


A: Your visitors should change security settings in IE to allow Javascript on pages they load.

When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.


Q: I need a web navigation bar with a transparent background for the menu and the submenues.

A: You can set the following parameters:

  var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];

You can set transparency for submenus using the following parameter:
