  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I have built out a vertical menu that fits within a fixed size box. The items of the menus are all fixed size images. However when increasing the font size in the browser under View -> Text Size the spacing between the images increases and the html java menu no longer fits within the fixed space. I did have CSS padding-top in the html java menu that I took out but it still does not fit in the space. I took out but it still does not fit in the space.

Have you run into this before or do you know of a fix for this?

A: You've installed the menu in DIV with absolute position (boxNav). Thatis why you have such behaviour.
Try to use relative position for this DIV.



Q: > Does you tree menu php support right-to-left layout? that is to say it opens thebranches/submenus from the right to left .

A: Yes it is possible to create a menu for right-to-left languages with Deluxe Tree in the same way as in standard htmlcode.
Please, set <HTML dir="rtl">.

You should set the following parameters:

  var titemAlign="right";
  var ticonAlign="right";
  var texpandBtnAlign="right";

Deluxe Menu support right-to-left languages.
In Deluxe Menu you can set the following parameter:
  var dmRTL = 1;

Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.

Q: I like your product a lot. These are the features that, unfortunately, cannot be done and hope that you can address them. I will place the order right away if these are resolved:
1. For each individual item, allow attaching a customized javascript to fire up "onclick" and "nomouseover".

2. Allow using a variable size icon for each item.


A: 1. You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects withinitems, for example:

If you wantto use different icon dimensions, you can use standard <img>elements within items:

Q: We recently bought your product.

We are developing in ASP.NET (VB) and we have a problem making you deluxe menu dynamic to suit our needs. We are using the Deluxe Menu.

The problem is each time a page with dhtml nav loads, we want to be able to generate the menuItems variable to reflect the options the individual user has, so it can't be hard coded into data.js it MUST be provided by an aspx file and attached somehow. I can't work out how to attach the variable (even a static one) as a separate file, so if you can do it with a static one, we can extend it to a dynamic one later.

For example the JS in the data.js file we want the MenuItem dimension you be loaded in a seperate file, some kind of include.
