  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I'm struggling with one last issue on my navigation. When you have a screen resolution about the same size as the site width, when a sub menu pops up, It displays sometimes to the left of the first drop down menu list rather than the left. Is there a way of changing the way this displays if the screen size is smaller than 800px wide or so.

A: If there is no enough room on the right side of your browser windowdrop down menu list submenus will be shown on the left side.



Q: A brief one on dynamic menu in the perspective of bilinguism

I understood from the tuner that a menu can be made dynamic (although it is somewhat minimally documented ;-))

Leaving alone all the beautiful sophisticated and complex mechanic of it

Say I have my main menu that says :

To change the menu items on the fly you can use API functions
function dm_ext_changeItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)
function dm_ext_addItem (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams)
function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

Q: I would like first to thank you for your products.
I downloaded the trial script and it's ok except for Hebrew or Right To Left languages.

Do you have a solution for this issue ??

A: You can use right-to-left languages the same way as in standard htmlcode.
Set "dir=rtl" for <html> tag.
Try that.



Q: I have an HTML application with 4 iframes. The main html file contains 3 iframes (top toolbar, left toolbar, and main area) and the menu. The main area iframe contains one additional iframe were the actual data is. When I interact with the data in this last iframe and try to dynamically change the menu in the .html file I get the error message: 'm' is null or not an object

The API call is:

dm_ext_addItem(0, 0, ["test1", "testlink.htm", "", "", "test1m", "_blank", "1"]);

I only have one menu.

I am using IE6

I included these files in both the hta file and the iframe source file.

A: Deluxe Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects. It works with<frameset> objects only. All it can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.
You should use standard installation for the menu (cross-frame mode).
