Q: Submenus of my javascript dynamic menu are opening higher than they should and I cannot figure out why the position setting has no effect.

A: Try to set the following parameter:

  var subMenuVAlign="top";

Q: I worked up some menus on my local machine and they work fine I want to push them to my server.
When I do, I don't see the menu that I saw on my local machine.
Instead, I see a hypertext link with a word that I used in one menu. What could be wrong?
Do I have to chmod the JS file? Do I have it mapped wrong. Is it because I am using a demo version?


A: Demo version of the menu has full functionality.
I can't find the call of dmenu.js file on deluxe-menu.htm and dmenu.js file in the "deluxe-menu_files" folder.

Q: I am becoming more frustrated by the moment. I try to add more menu items, the default icons (images) disappear and I can't figure out how to get them back.
Is this a bug in your software or am I simply doing something wrong? Every time this happens, I have to start over and end up with the same results - lost or missing icons.


A: That's mean that you don't use Individual Item Styles for the newitems.

Please, see how you should use Individual Styles for the items similar the one which you're going tocreate and see it parameters.
You should use the same parameters for the new item.

Try that.


Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.
