  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I'm having a problem displaying a little white icon arrow on my dhtml foldout menu. I us Adobe Dreamweaver to build my site. When previewing, I found that adding . /.. to the .js file works good and it displays the arrows. But when I Put the menu on the internet it goes back to displaying a blank box like it can t find it again. My menu is in my site's root directory, and I would like to control all my site's pages with it. I am going to have a basic template for the whole site with the dhtml foldout menu on it and I am to building all the pages from that.

If I don't change the link to ../../ the only pages that will work is the one that is in the same directory as my menu files.

A: Try to use absolute paths to your images on the website. Your menu will work correctly inall cases in that case.

Q: I am developing a site where the customer does not want any transition effects within the IE browser.
I want to emulate the above mentioned browsers with the same transition.
When mousing over javascript flyout menu - the submenu should appear with no effect.

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

Q: Thank you for your quick service. Question for you, in the templates java expanding menu - Standard Tree Menu. There is an option to search by Index and also word query. When I bring the Template up I dont see this option on the sample menu. I'm I missing something or do I need to add it. If I need to add it can you explain to me how to do it.

A: You are able to paste any html code within java expanding menu items.
