Recent Questions

Q: Why don't any of the effects work in Firefox? I have built several different types of menus and they don't work the same in firefox as they do in IE. Is there a way to fix this? i.e. adding any html code or anything?


A: Yes, it is really so. Firefox supports only transparency of the menu.
Visual effects work in IE only. other browsers don't support them.

Q: The submenu should look identical to the main menu but it is not allowing this.
Even though parameters are set to 0 it is showing smart scroll and also not showing the sub menus how they should be.
I also notice and error in the templates window view when I am looking at the javascript onmouseover menu.


A: You've set the exact width for your submenus:

  var smHeight="21px"; // it is the height of the whole submenu

It is not right.

Try to write:
  var smHeight="";

It is not correct. Try to set:

  var pressedItem="-2";

Q: I would like to setup a menu that is Horizontal at level 1,Horizontal at level 2, then vertical from then on. Can your system handle this?  Even if I need to manuallytweak something that would be fine.

A: Unfortunately, the menu can't do that. You can only set theorientation for the top-menu and its submenus.

Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:
