Q: Thank you for the information. I have been successful in getting the drop down menu select to appear on my index.htm file.

I'm having some problems fine tuning it. I placed the code and files as indicated on the file. What I get is a menu appearing at the top of the page and a link titled: Trial Version where I want the menu to appear.

The other problem I am having is that the drop down menu select is left justified and I would like it to be centered on my page (table).

A: Check that you're using relative position for the drop down menu select. You shouldset:

Q: I am rewriting my homepage in CSS but now I have another problem with the DeLuxe menu.
The javascript top menu is well positioned on the page but the submenus are not.
The submenus are not positioned aside the javascript top menu but lower and far to much to the right.
I changed the variables

  var posY = 100;
  var absolutePos = 1;
  var topDX = 0;
  var topDY = 0;
  var DX = -3;
  var DY = 0;

Sometimes when I change the variables the submenus are well positioned and then, after enlarging the IE-window, they are not.
What can I do?

A: It is possible that you have some problems with your css styles.
See, the problem is that the javascript top menu can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="POSITION: absolute;"

to the

<div id="block">



Q: Two questions. First I get a "Error! Skin Load!" popup when my onmouseover popup window loads.
I see references to "skin.js". Is this supposed to be generated?

Secondly.

I am being really dense. I would like to use Deluxe Popup Windows in response to a mouse click on a picture. So far with deluxe Menu, I just put a statement like this:

where I wanted the menu to show up. The web page loads and the Deluxe Menu displays.

I have managed to make the onmouseover popup window appear by using that code, the web page loads and the popup loads (with the skin error).

I know how to get a larger picture from a smaller one like this:

A: See, to install Deluxe Popup Window you should call two .js files onyour page:

Copy deluxe-popup-window.files folder and deluxe-popup-window.js fileinto the same folder with your html page.

Q: I am trying to evaluate the trial version of deluxepopup window.
The script popup works great but I am having a specific requirement of making it amodal window; i.e. when the popup is opened, users shouldn't be allowed to access the main page. Please let me know how to make this happen.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to create modal window using Deluxe Popup Window.It doesn't have such a feature now.

We'll try to add this feature in the next versions.
