Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.
  • Create separators using your own pictures, size and alignment.

Q: I want to set up dhtml tab on my page, and have HTML code inside the tab,

I'm having trouble figuring this out. Can you help?

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: I got it working however I have an additional question.

How do I allocate the width of each "button" see sample how for instance the "FAQ" button is so narrow compared to others. I tried adding spaces with no result.

A: You can use Individual Item Styles to set exact width for the menuitems.

A: Check that you use relative position for the menu
