  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

Q: We use your deluxe menu app. We are trying to configure menu windows to a certain width. But when we configure it to a certain number of characters, the app cuts words. Is there any way to configure it, so that doesn't happens and puts that word in the lower line in the menu en javascript item?

A: Try to use the following parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

You can also use standard <br> tags within menu en javascript item's text.

Q: Does deluxe menu need Java Virtual Machine installed on the computer that is trying to view the web site with a deluxe menu on it?


A: This menu doesn't require any external plug-ins to be installed.

If you can't see the menu in all browsers you should change security browser settings to allow Javascript on pages you load.

When your security browser settings doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.


Q: Is there a way to programmatically specify which tab is selected in the html tabs navigation?

A: You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters based on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters from your data file to your code.

Q: I did not make anything complex - simply added a couple of menu items. As you may see the java swing popup menu being expanded overlaps with the rest of the table. I guess I am just not doing something right since it is a trivial case ...

A: Now you're using absolute position for the menu:

  var tabsolute=1;

You should use relative position.
