  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! You can also define width and height for each submenu.

Q: The AJAX sample for tree menu script on website does not have any styling applied at the moment.
I am assuming that it would support full styling with AJAX as well.
Is this correct?

A: You can use any style and templates for the AJAX sample.
Create a menu and set style you need using Individual Item Styles.
To enable AJAX Tree Menu use the following menu parameters:

Q: Would it be possible at some point to introduce more font decoration options to the mouseover variables, I would like to add bold as a mouseover font decoration, but obviously this is not possible at the moment.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature. You can onlyset it's color. You cannot set the font of menu item bold when selected.

Q: May I use this menu in Arabic mode I mean in right to left mode?

If yes please let me know how?


A: You're able to use any characters for Deluxe Menu in the same way asyou use them for standard html page.

The only issue is that submenus can be shown in incorrect positionwhen you're using dir=rtl for your page.

  var dmRTL = 0;
Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.

Use also
  var smViewType = 2;
for right-to-left languages.

This examples demonstrates how the menu can change a submenusdirection. Use   var smViewType parameter to change a submenusdirection:

  var smViewType = 0..3;

Values:
0 - from left to right;
1 - from left to right + upwards;
2 - from right to left;
3 - from right to left + upwards;

In Deluxe Menu when you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:

Unfortunately, you can't use arabic characters in Deluxe Tuner application.You should manually correct your code.


Q: Could I create a function that displays thetab that the user clicked in the left tab menu.
These tabs are all within the same window, sothe page will always be the same.
Just need a function to make differenttabs appear.

A: Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.

You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.

For example:
