Q: Do your popup menus work with Dreamweaver?

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension and wedon't have plug-ins for it.
To install the menu into your html page:

1. create and save .js file with your menu parameters in Deluxe Tuner
2. open your .html page in Dreamweaver
3. Copy data.js file and "data.files/" folder in the same folderwith your html page.
4. add several rows of code (<script> tags).

Q: I need a way to change tabs with buttons AFTER THE PAGE IS RENDERED. This means bselecteditem is useless to me at this point.

I want to have a button called NEXT on TAB 1, and when you press that button, it switches you to TAB 2. Likewise on TAB 2 I want to have a button called NEXT that when pressed will switch you to TAB 3.

I don't want to have to post back to the server to make this work, I want a way of Javascript to change the tab indexes.

How can I do this?

Q: When I roll my mouse over my menu, it appears halfway down the page, not next to the menu. This only happens when I enclose the code in <div></div> layers. Is there a way to fix this?


A: It is possible that you have some problems with your css.

The problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add <DIV id=SiteMenu>

to the

style="position:absolute;"

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=SiteMenu style="position:absolute;">

Check that.


Q: What I would like is a link inside the popup window that closes the mouseover popup window. I tried moving the "close" link from the main page into the popup window html but I get a Javascript error when I click on that link.

A: See, if you load a different page in your popup window (iframe) suchlink won't work in it.

If you add the content of the mouseover popup window in DIV (so, it will be thesame page) such link will work.
