A: To disable your menu items you should set the following parameter to disable all items:

  var itemTarget="_";

Or you can disable items individually.

Q: We are actually very happy with the product compared to the other options available. The code is cleaner and it is easy to use. We would actually like to continue to use your product but our client uses firefox most of the time and if the javascript onmouseover menu won't go over the java applet it isn't going to work. You mention that you will try to fixthe issue. If you can give me a date to when it would be fixed by, I can try to convince our client to wait.

Q: We are using your deluxe menu on our live site, but I have a question about the initial setup of the menu.

I need to update the site and a create a new version where the Deluxe Menu is painted, but not initially displayed until the user has been validated. We are runing the entire site from a single page with multiple iFrames. I have been using the code document.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden"; to hide the menu during startup, but I would rather have the floating menu hidden initially and then displayed as the user is validated and gain access to the functionality.

So the question is: Is there a property in the data.js file - or any other file - where the menu can be hidden initially until needed?

A: You can hide the menu onloaddocument.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden";

And then show the floating menu when your user will be validated.

Q: I have built a new website to replace a dated version and the menu work fine everywhere, except I just found out the site needs to be accessed from a remote sever and the Client cannot enable scripting as it would compromise their security settings.


A: When your security settings doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:
