Q: Is it correct that in vertical collapse menu you can specify your target as a different frame?


A: Yes, you can specify frame name as the target in Deluxe Tree:

  var titemTarget="frame";

Q: That worked for the rollover drop down menu but I lost my drop shadow on the main menu. The sub-menus still have it. The preview has the drop shadow but when I view it in IE it is not there.

A: You should check the following parameters:

  var shadowLen=3;
  var shadowColor="#B1B1B1";
  var shadowTop=1;



Q: Does Delux Menu/Tree/bar Tabs work on a Mac? can't seem to get it to work... normally am PC person.

A: To create your menu on MAC you can use HTML version of Deluxe Tuner (for MAC OS). You can find it here:http://deluxe-menu.com/deluxe-tuner-info.html

Unfortunately we don't have html version of the Tuner for Deluxe Treeand Deluxe Tabs now. We'll try to create it in the nearest future.

All Deluxe products work fine in all Safari browsers.

Q: Can I ask a technical question? I am using the menu in a frameset, and I would like for the drop down menu selected branch to sty highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window (where the menu brings up a new page), just so the user knows where he/she is. Is that possible?

A: But if you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:
  var ttoggleMode=1;
  var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";

You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
  var tsaveState=1;
  var tsavePrefix="menu1";

If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:
