But what about inserting the menus? Do I have to program them myself?


A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial now. We'll try tocreate it in the nearest time.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

You can use ready to use templates. You can find them in the templateswindow.

When you open Deluxe Tuner ( Deluxe Menu ) you can click "File/New"
and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.

You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.
See also other parameters for the menu on the main window.

You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index. html page.

Q: I am becoming more frustrated by the moment. I try to add more menu items, the default icons (images) disappear and I can't figure out how to get them back.
Is this a bug in your software or am I simply doing something wrong? Every time this happens, I have to start over and end up with the same results - lost or missing icons.


A: That's mean that you don't use Individual Item Styles for the newitems.

Please, see how you should use Individual Styles for the items similar the one which you're going tocreate and see it parameters.
You should use the same parameters for the new item.

Try that.


Q: I have 2 questions about this script I would like to find out before purchasing:

1. Does it support 3rd and 4th level java script navigation menu?
2. How customizable is it style-wise, meaning, I have images I want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. Any way I can achieve this?

A: 1) Yes, you can add as many levels in the java script navigation menu as you want.

2) Actually you can create any java script navigation menu with Deluxe Menu. You can use Individual Styles tocreate your menu. For example:

A: To enable AJAX Tree Menu use the following menu parameters:

Each .js file must contain menuItems variable for the submenu in the following format:

[text, link, icon1, icon2, icon2, tip, target, itemStyle, submenuStyle, jsFileName],
];

Where jsFileName - .js filename on the server that contains tmenuItems variable for the submenu.
