Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: If you use firefox this displays fine, in IE it seems to add cell padding around the bottom & right edge of the dhtml image menu. Cant see it in the code anywhere.

A: Set the following parameter:

Q: I'm trying to put the tree menu within a table per the instructions below, but the menu is not going in the menu but actually going on top of it!


A: Please, check that you don't use absolute position for the Tree Menu.

A: See how should you create cross frame menu:

1. To initialize the cross frame menu call dm_initFrame()
function instead of standard dm_init() function within data.js file:

dm_initFrame(framesetID, mainFrameInd, subFrameInd, orientation);

framesetID - id attribute of the frameset;
mainFrameInd - index of the main frame (where the top-menu is placed), >=0;
subFrameInd - index of the subframe (where the submenus will be shown), >=0;
orientation - frame orientaion: 0 - top-to-bottom, 1 - left-to-right; 2 - bottom-to-top; 3 - right-to-left.

So you should create your menu in Deluxe Tuner, save it.
Create html file with your frame set.

Set ID for the first frameset:
