I am using the deluxe tuner in order to call these files and it looks great in the preview. As soon as I save the file and load it in the browser, the background images are missing.

Your solution refers to creating absolute paths using
  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";

I have implemented this solution but I still think the problem persists.


A: Now you set pathPrefix parameter:
  var pathPrefix_img = "http://www.domain/folder/menudir/dataAlumni.files/";

And you have such images paths, for example:
  var arrowImageSub=["dataAlumni.files/submenuIconOff.gif","dataAlumni.files/submenuIconOn.gif"];

So you have such paths for arrows:
http://www.domain/folder/menudir/dataAlumni.files/dataAlumni.files/submenuIconOff.gif

It is not right.

You should write your paths so:
  var arrowImageSub=["submenuIconOff.gif","submenuIconOn.gif"];

Please, correct it.


Q: How do I turn off the transitional effects for the html menus (is there a flag)?

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

  var transition=-1;
  var transOptions="";
  var transDuration=0;
  var transDuration2=0;

Q: We need Asian fonts to be displayed on the menu. Is there any way that we can really make it happen?

The constraint is we have to display the drop down in Cross Frame and Cross Domain environment.

A: You can use any font in your menu.
You should install the font on your computer.

You're able to use any characters for Deluxe Menu in the same way asyou use them for standard html page.
The only issue is that submenus can be shown in incorrect positionwhen you're using dir=rtl for your page.

Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.Use also  var smViewType = 2;for right-to-left languages.


Q: When we use dhtml menus on our pages it appears behind Flash objects.

A: You should add "opaque" parameter for <object> and <embed> tags.
