  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: The button menu is on the top of the screen but it has lines through each of the menus just after the words and before the arrow on each of them.
I have stretched the menu out tocover the whole of the top of the page but i need to get these lines out of the menu.

When items text is too long you can have such effect.

You can try to use combined background for your items, for example:

Q: We are using the deluxe menu in one of our projects. The menu works well on our integration system but not on our production system.

The only difference is that the integration is running on Tomcat Version 5.5.9 and the production (with the "broken" menu) on Tomcat 5.5.17.

But for me it looks more like a browser problem than a JSP problem.
Unfortunatley the Tomcat 5.5.17 is our production system so fast help is appreciated.


A: Try to set the following parameter:

Make sure that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.


Q: I find your tools very interesting, yet I've serched but found no answer... is there a version of your program for mac?
I don't trsut windows at all, so i don't have ever think about using bootcamp to load windows on my mac, so i repeat my question, is there or will be a version of deluxe menu to work on mac systems?

Q: If I use the Search Engine Friendly Code feature, do I have to update or redo it each time I change the drop menu script and save, or if I do it once to the file will it automatically update on every save?

A: If you change drop menu script items (item's text and links) you should updateyour search engine friendly code. Deluxe Tuner doesn't update it onevery save (when you save your data file).

There is no need to update it when you change menu parameters only.
