Q: I'm using the deluxe-menu software on a asp.net 2.0 site that utilizes master-pages. On everypage that is in the root directory the javascript for menu loads fine, but if the page is up a directory the main images for the menu don't display.

Have you had any customers with this same problem? If so any help you could offer would be appreciated, thanks!

A: Try to use absolute paths, for example:

Q: I have a menu defined that displays and operates correctly in a page. However, if I place that same page in an iFrame the menu displays correctly BUT the texpanded parameter no longer works.
If I copy the contents of the iFrame and run it again in a new window, it all works fine again.

Is there something special I need to do in an iFrame?


A: Deluxe Tree Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects. It works with objects only. All it can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.
You should use standard installation for the menu.


Q: I just purchased your multiple site bundle and have a menu question.

I need to create a menu for a site that has the top level menu have no border but I want any of the sub menu popups to have a border around them (or a different background color for the menu area for the popup). I can not see a way to do this? If a put a menu border on it appears on both the top level and any submenu popups.


A: You should use Individual Item Styles.

You should set the following parameters:

1)   var menuBorderWidth=0;
2) Create Submenu Style

  var menuStyles = [
["menuBorderWidth=1","menuBorderStyle=solid","menuBorderColor=#7E5927"], //style 0
];
You can do it in Deluxe Tuner. Click "Edit Individual Styles" and thenchoose "Submenu Styles" tab.

3) Assign Individual Style for your submenus.
You can assign them only for the first item in each submenu.

Q: I'm about to create a transparent menu as you can see on the attached photo. I can't find any samples on how to place the cascading navigation bar on an image with 100% opacity. Is it possible...?

A: To create a transparent menu you should set transparent value for the following parameters:
