Q: I would like to know does deluxe menu support Unicode characters? I have enter some Chinese texts through deluxe tuner and I can preview those Chinese text in deluxe tuner preview panel. I have chose "use utf8 encode"already. However after I saved the .js file, the js file encode become ANSI and those Chinese texts in the js file become ?????. Can deluxe tuner autosave the file to UTF8 encode?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.

So you should write:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.

Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\



Q: I am totally confused by this now but I have 2 data files - one for a menu bar going horizontal and one going vertical both containing the same information. But even though the content is the same, the layout is different.

You will see that on the horizontal menu,

These are listed correctly under each other but on the vertical one, the layout differs.

Q: Is there a way to increase the margin between the text on the main tree menu and the edge of the dhtml menu control. The text appears to be right up against the left margin.

A: You can add   symbol before item's text, for example:
