Q: No matter where I paste the script in the html for the drop down menu I created, it shows up at the top left corner of the page.

I would like it to go below the blue banner at the top of the page.

A: Now you're using absolute position for the menu:

  var absolutePos=1;

  var posY="10px";

Try to use relative position

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="10px";
  var posY="10px";


Q: I have one problem you may be able to help with:

If I set

  var tsaveState = 1;

The following errors are generated:

_tls is not defined

tob has no properties

and the menu doesn't display.

A: You should use dtree_ss.js file.

You should install your menu so:

Q: I am interested in purchasing the "Microsoft Like Style Dhtml Tabs Menu" and would like to know if the tab menu horizontal java, roll over and selected colors are controllable? meaning if I want green (not blue) tab I can have the tabs green. Please let me know

A: Unfortunately you cannot change the color of this template in DeluxeTuner, as it is image-based tab menu horizontal java.

If you want to change the color of this template you should changeimages. You can do it in any Graph editor, for example in PhotoShop.



Q: I am using the tree menu script in a frameset, and I would like for the selected menu branch to stay highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window(where the menu brings up a new page),just so the user knows where he/she is.
Is that possible?

A: But if you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:
  var ttoggleMode=1;
  var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";

You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
  var tsaveState=1;
  var tsavePrefix="menu1";

If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:
