Q: I have been trying for months to find an answer to my submenu problem using your FAQ and Recent Questions.
The only thing that comes close to an answer is from one of your Recent Questions below, but I don't understand the answer. Will you please give me specific code or info to fix? Please refer to my frameset code and data.js info, which I've provided further down this message.
I am using cross frame menu dropdown. I have three frames: Top, Left and main (middle).
I am using the script and data from your sample file, it works fine. Only problem is submenu is offset to the right. It does not show up exactly down below the top javascript hide menu.
A: Yes, I suppose that the reason is in your frame structure. For examplenow you have:

Try to add additional frame in your top frame with the same width asyour left frame has:

Q: How can I make the submenus appear much more quickly for the javascript expand menu?They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximately one second.
A: Try to adjust the following parameters:

var smShowPause=100;
var smHidePause=1000;
var transDuration=150;
var transDuration2=200;
You can also turn off transitional effects
var transition=-1;
Q: I've been trying to get the menu item in dynamic tree menu to stay highlighted when clicked on and directed to that page.
A: Tree Menu doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state.
It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

To expand specific items you should use the following function:
dtreet_ext_expandItem (dtreet_ext_getItemIDByIndex (0, 11), 1);
Q: Is it possible to keep the main menu highlightedcorresponding to the page you are in? So, if you're on a specific page that button on the menu will automatically be highlighted.
I searched the FAQ on your site and it gave me something about "Special Parameters" that didn't make sense to me...
A: You should set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
