Q: Hi, I purchased your deluxe-menu product and it's working great, the only problem I'm having is the tree menu in javascript is always fully expanded when a new customer enters the site. I've looked through your support blog but I can't find a reason for it.

A: Check that parameter:

  var texpanded = 0;

It expands all items by default.


Q: When the menus drop down the background is white but it is see through, this is ok on the homepage but on the other pages it is making the text unreadable. Is there a way of keeping the background of the submenus solid so it isn't see through javascript expanding menu?

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var transparency="100";

Q: Can I set up Individual Styles for the navigation bar menu using Deluxe Tuner?

A: Of course you can set it in Deluxe Tuner.

1) Click "Edit Individual Styles..." button.
2) In the "Individual Styles" window click "Add Style".
3) Set itemWidth parameter.
4) Click "OK" button.
5) Select your top items and assign "Item Style" to it. (in the "ItemParameters" window)




Q: We are using Deluxe-menu to create dhtml menubar for our website. This website it will be in three languages, English, French and Spanish. In French version, when we insert "Hébergement" in text box and view it in preview is fine, but in actual webpage the accents not right. The following is screen shot of the menu on preview and webpage, please let me know how we can fix this problem.

A: You should set "Tools/Use UTF8 encode" and create your dhtml menubar.
