  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.

Q: Am having problems adding to my site. I have a site all made ready to accept the new menu I made in your trial software. I copy code from the exported page over and place where it seems appropriate. When I preview the menu doesn't display but a link to purchase does. Is this because it is the trial software or something else.


A: When your security settings in browser doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.


Q: Is there a different type of menu, other than the way I have it set up, such as the tree type, that might load faster or take up less space when the page loads?


A: You should set

Q: I need a menu system that can do one Vertical menu example in java and a completely separate Horizontal menu on the same page, no frames. Will this menu software do this?

A: Yes, you can create two menus (vertical and horizontal) and installthem on the same page. See the attached example.



Q: When doing a multi-frame frameset (1 top frame, 2 bottom frames) like this:

And using the dm_frameinit like this:
dm_initFrame("[object]", 0, 2, 0);

it works fine in IE -> the menus are displayed exactly under the text and in the bottom right frame.

However, in Firefox, the menu drop down is displayed to the right of the top menu text, and exactly the number of pixels as the width of the left frame.

Perhaps there needs to be some FireFox checking to fix this?
Can you help me with that?


A: The problem is in a structure of your frameset.
Mozilla browsers can't determine absolute coordinates for a frame, sosubmenus drop down with an offset.

You should create the following frameset structure:

 --|------------
   | menu
 --|------------
   |
   | submenus
   |

Now a top row has 2 columns and all browsers can determine awidth of the 1st column in the second row.
