Q: I am using your Ajax menu and am generally delighted with it. Its ability to load sub menus on the fly is just what I have been looking for.

However, I have noticed in IE7 that it can leave sub menus displayed when you have moused off that particular ajax drop down menu. Can this be fixed?

Also, can you get the menu to disappear when you mouse off the menu, rather than having to hover over another menu or click the page off the menu.

A: See, now you've set the following parameter:
  var smHidePause=-1;

It means that your submenus won't be hidden till you click or scroll your page.

If you want to hide your submenus on mouse out you should set another value, for example:

  var smHidePause=1000;
or
  var smHidePause=500;

Q: I am interested in purchasing Deluxe Menu. But I want to use drop down navigation menu on my PC only, not on Internet and not on Intranet or local host! I want to use it to make presentations similar to PowerPoint but it will only sit on my PC.

Q: How do I change the background color for the floating drop down menu

A: To change menu colors you should change the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="#F2F3F2";
  var itemBackColor=["#F2F3F2","#535353"];

You can also use Individual Item Styles to change the color of the specific items:
  var menuStyles = [
["menuBackColor=#F2F3F2"],
];

  var itemStyles = [
["itemBackColor=#F2F3F2,#535353"],
];

Q: I need to be able to highlight the selected menu item of the sliding drop down menu.

A: Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
