Q: Does Delux Menu/Tree/bar Tabs work on a Mac? can't seem to get it to work... normally am PC person.

A: To create your menu on MAC you can use HTML version of Deluxe Tuner (for MAC OS). You can find it here:http://deluxe-menu.com/deluxe-tuner-info.html

Unfortunately we don't have html version of the Tuner for Deluxe Treeand Deluxe Tabs now. We'll try to create it in the nearest future.

All Deluxe products work fine in all Safari browsers.

Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

A: Deluxe Tree has save state feature. You should set the followingparameter:

Q: I have menus generated by you deluxe menu package . They look fine on all my computer but look bad on my friends computer.
Can this be fixed?

Try to specify all units in "px", for example:

  var menuHeight="22px";

Try to set exact width for menu item
  var menuWidth="736px";

Try also not to set
  var smWidth="0";
  var smHeight="0";

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Please, try to use these parameters.


Q: I've build a custom javascript menu navigation in Hebrew, but I saw only squares.

A: You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.
