Q: I just don't understand the 'concept" of how It should be put into my html page.
I plan on having more than one menu on my page. and this would be an example of one of the drp down menus I want on it. I'm fairly new to making a webpage, but this menu is what I would like on my page.

A: 1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

Deluxe Tuner v2.4 supports Deluxe Menu (http://deluxe-menu.com) &Deluxe Tree (http://deluxe-tree.com) & Deluxe Tabs (http://deluxe-tabs.com)

You can use ready to use templates. You can find them in the templateswindow.

When you open Deluxe Tuner ( Deluxe Menu ) you can click "File/New"and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

Q: We have another question. How can we increase the width of the vista style buttons? Changing the itemwidth style will make the buttons larger but it also cause all the images to appear in the wrong place.

A: The width of Vista images is 92px. So, if you want to create the itemswider than 92px you should change vista images in any graphic editor,for example in PhotoShop.


Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.

I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

See the attached example. Search works fine.

You can also specify styles for the search box:

Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
  I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out.  Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.
