  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: Ok I found the problem. When I make   var floatable=0; dhtml flyout menu stays perfectly on the top as before but when I change it to   var floatable=1; then it stays on top when the page loads but moves down when the page fully loads.


A: There are additional parameters for floatable feature in v3.2 now.
You can find them in Deluxe Tuner.

Try to write:
  var floatableDX=0;
  var floatableDY=0;

These parameters set minimal space for widow border.


Q: I tried to create this html version and it is still not working.
I have saved all of the files in the correct places and what it gives me is just all of the links in a straight line across the top of the page.
I really think it is sitebuilder that is creating the issue with the structure of the head and body tags, but I a am a little new so I may be wrong.


A: You should delete tag from your code.
Please delete the following string from your html page.

Q: Java sub menu not working after upgrade to deluxe menu 3.0. Please check.

A: See, you've set the following parameter:

  var transparency="0";

That is mean that your submenus will be transparent. You won't seethem.

Try to set another value, for example:

  var transparency="100";



Q: I'm having a problem displaying a little white icon arrow on my dhtml foldout menu. I us Adobe Dreamweaver to build my site. When previewing, I found that adding . /.. to the .js file works good and it displays the arrows. But when I Put the menu on the internet it goes back to displaying a blank box like it can t find it again. My menu is in my site's root directory, and I would like to control all my site's pages with it. I am going to have a basic template for the whole site with the dhtml foldout menu on it and I am to building all the pages from that.

If I don't change the link to ../../ the only pages that will work is the one that is in the same directory as my menu files.

A: Try to use absolute paths to your images on the website. Your menu will work correctly inall cases in that case.
