  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: The submenu should look identical to the main menu but it is not allowing this.
Even though parameters are set to 0 it is showing smart scroll and also not showing the sub menus how they should be.
I also notice and error in the templates window view when I am looking at the javascript onmouseover menu.


A: You've set the exact width for your submenus:

  var smHeight="21px"; // it is the height of the whole submenu

It is not right.

Try to write:
  var smHeight="";

It is not correct. Try to set:

  var pressedItem="-2";

Q: After I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the tab menu, the tab defaults back to the original default tab. Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: I have downloaded the trail version of java menu source, and I am getting script errors.

I am working with the deluxe menu.

I uninstalled, cleared all cache and temporary files, restarted the computer, reinstalled and I still get the same message.

I am convinced this program is exactly what I need, but one step at a time.


A: I suppose that you're using Windows 2000.
We have some problems with Tuner on this OS.

Unfortunately we didn't fix the issue with Windows 2000 yet.

Try to delete all content from toolbar.html file.

Q: I downloaded a trial version of your software and I did so because your description says it can utilize a database.

I have tried to modify a menu with my database, but with no success.

If you can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Once I can successfully alter a menu with a database, then I will purchase this software.
