  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I am very interested in using your deluxe menu products for my new website design, particularly the Tree Menu. I've been looking at the javascript tree source and am a bit worried that the links used will not be recognised by Search Engine robots - do you have any information regarding implementation of your menus so that the links are fully visible to search engines ?

A: You can generate search engine friendly code.
Deluxe Tree is a search engine friendly menu since v2.4.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

...etc.
</div>

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).



Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: I am interested in purchasing your product for use in my company's website code. My clients are not tech-savy, and I do not want to include any code that will generate concern or problems on the user end.

Is there a way to use the JavaScript menus without generating the warning as mentioned in the subject? I know how to allow the active content on my web browser, but I want code that will not require such actions on their browsers.

Q: I am creating buttons for my web page and I can't find where I assign hyperlinks to the individual java menu items? Where is it located?

A: Create your java menu in Deluxe Tuner.

Add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window. Select menu item and set parameters (item text, link,icons, tip, target...) on the "Item Parameters" window.See also other parameters for the menu on the main window.
