Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.
  • Build menus completely based on Cascading Style Sheets. It is possible to appoint the individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu.

Q: I know. I have two menus on the page and I am not using beforeItemImage orafterItemImage for the top menu in javascript (the one you referenced below), but I need it for the second menu. The parameters for that menu are in mainnav_data.js.

Even when I only call dmWorkPath and dmenu.js once, it does not work.

A: See, it is not correctly to use image-based items:

and specify beforeItemImage/afterItemImage parameters. They won't work in that case.

You can create such buttons in the following ways:
1) Use image-based menu (images with text).

Create normal and mouse-over state images (with text) for each item:

But you should create a small images in any Graph Editor, for example:

You cannot use these two methods together!

Q: Hello, I am trying to figure out how to use the Dynamic functionality in the java menu codes. I believe I want to use something like the dm_ext_changeItemVisibility function, and I want it to be dependent on HTML wrapped around the menu item.

Below is functionally how I want it to work:

Show menu item 1
Show menu item 2

Show menu item 3

Show menu item 4

Is there an example you can share that does something like this? I searched the site and could not find an answer.

and
Hide / show "Samples" item.

You can call these function via javascript depending on your conditions.

A: You should use Individual styles, for example:
