Q: I want to be able to put a small thumbnail icon in the description area of animated drop down menu. Here is a current line from my .js file for a single link.

The problem is the "'s around the img src.....it's throwing off your animated drop down menu.

How do I fix that?

A: It is not correct to write menuItems in such way.

You should write:

 ["|'Slow Death Hook' Contest<br><br><br>Enter Your Favorite Fish Photos to Win!<br> Gary Parsons <br><br><img src='images/thumbnail.jpg'>","http://www.domain.com/site/featured_article.cfm?owner=AB18D298-0AC7-254E-B7248E9DCD0F9549",,,,,"0"],

Try that.



Q: Images don't appear in my menu.


A: Now you have two lines:

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>  var dmWorkPath = "../misyssbm.files/";</SCRIPT>

and

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>  var dmWorkPath = "../side_menu.files/";</SCRIPT>

But you should have only one line.
Please, check it.


Q: Though, once I click on a link, the page will load properlyin the correct frame, but the next time I hover over that dhtml menu link again, I get a Permission Denied error.

A: It is possible that your links are incorrect.

If you open links situated in the different folders on your serveryou'll get error.

You can try to use absolute paths for your dhtml menu links:

  var pathPrefix_link="http://domain.com/";

You can also send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.



Q: The secondary javascript menu style sub menu under Aircraft doesn't line up the same as in Tuner..

A: Deluxe Menu doesn't work correctly (incorrect submenu position) if youhave complex frame structure.

The problem is in a structure of your frameset.
Mozilla browsers can't determine absolute coordinates for a frame, so submenus drop down with an offset.

You should create, for example, the following frameset structure:

--|------------|--
| top |
--|------------|--
| menu |
--|------------|--
| |
| submenus |
| |

Now a second row has 3 columns and all browsers can determine a width of the 1st column in the second row.
