Q: First, i like the time I save with this program, but it isn't going to help me that much if I can't put the menu where I want it on my page.

No matter how I set the "positioning", it shows up in exactly the same place over and over. I've put it in table cells, I've given it absolute positioning... none of it matters.


A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div> or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

Please, set exact value for   var menuWidth parameter, for example:

  var menuWidth = "600px";
This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".
Set also:
  var absolutePos = 0;

Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">


Q: I have a javascript menu codes that I change dynamically with dm_ext_changeItem.

When I converted it to a popup window, dm_ext_changeItem does not seem to work. Is this a bug?

A: See in the popup menu you should write submenuInd+1:

dm_ext_changeItem (menuInd, submenuInd+1, itemInd, iParams)



Q: I have downloaded the trial version of your software and would like to know if it is possible to expand the submenu when clicking on the text of the menu option? As far as I can find the only way to expand the the submenu is to click on the + icon before the menu text.
