  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.
  • Build menus completely based on Cascading Style Sheets. It is possible to appoint the individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu.

Q: Ok I found the problem. When I make   var floatable=0; dhtml flyout menu stays perfectly on the top as before but when I change it to   var floatable=1; then it stays on top when the page loads but moves down when the page fully loads.


A: There are additional parameters for floatable feature in v3.2 now.
You can find them in Deluxe Tuner.

Try to write:
  var floatableDX=0;
  var floatableDY=0;

These parameters set minimal space for widow border.


Q: Can you tell me why these two simple dhtml tabs menus are conflicting and overwriting?

A: Notice, when you have several dhtml tabs menus on the one page you should calldtabs.js file only once.

Q: Is there a convenient template somewhere that allows me to have a standard windows tree control menu that stays open so that the user does not lose track of himself.

You can expand any items when you load your page.

You should add "+" symbol before the item text. For example:

Q: When my page loads up, there is a flash for about a second of all the text that is used in the java menus. This looks really bad to visitors like I am using hidden text on the page. Is there a way to prevent this flash of text?
