Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • You can set the size of the menu in pixels, percent or other units. The menu may have an absolute or relative position (it can be inserted into the table).
  • Use any necessary font of any color, size and font decoration. Create any available type, thickness and color of a menu's frame.Choose any color for backgrounds of submenus and items.
  • Specify various values for padding and spacing for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.
  • Create separators using your own pictures, size and alignment.

Q: Javascript menu frame Borders are present Firefox but missing in IE7, IE8, Google Chrome, Safari.

Firefox shows the borders ok.

A: You've set the following parameters in this menu:
  var menuBorderColor="#FF9191 #FF7837 #E10000 #952D00 ";
  var menuBorderWidth=3;
  var menuBorderStyle="";

You should specify style for your border, for example:
  var menuBorderStyle="solid";

See the attached example. I cannot notice such issue on Safari forWin. Write what version you're using.

Change also
  var fontStyle=["normal 8pt Verdana,normal 8pt Verdana","normal 8pt Verdana,normal 8pt Verdana"];
to
  var fontStyle=["normal 8pt Verdana","normal 8pt Verdana"];

Q: I have purchased the Developer License for all products.  

However in the Tuner tool I don't see any option for creating calendars.  

How to design javascript calendars using the tuner tool? Where is the manual for Calendar?

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.
You can find it in the installed package:

Q: We're interested in the pop up menu (context menu) you offered. Is it possible to generate multiple context menus at the same page?
Is the context menu also 508 compliant, in other words, keyboard accessible?

A: Yes, you can use as many context menus as you want on the same page.
You should call your data files at first

You can use keyboard in context menus but you have to click (or hover) the image. And only after your subitems appear you can press "Ctrl+F2" and arrow keys to navigate themenu.
But if you have multiple menus on one page and use keystrokes support you can navigate only the first menu.



Q: I have been evaluating your dhtml-tree product, for a potential use.

It does just about every thing I want apart from 1 thing:

I want each css dropdown menu item to (optionally) support the following syntax:

<a href="menu_link.html" onClick="return fnClickedLinked()">Menu Link</a>

I have worked out how to change the "menu_link.html", and also that it could be something like "javascript:fnClickedLinked()".

However I want the above syntax, where search engines can pick up the link and if my function returns false, the link is not followed when clicked.

Is this possible?

Or can I cancel the link navigation using the tree API node click event??

A: Actually you can add the html code inside item's text:
