Q: I want that this tree expanded or collapsed (clicking on the image. e.g. like the right button) and go to the link when clicked on the item.
A: No problem.
You can assign a link to the item that has subitems.
When you'll click on item's button, it'll be expanded.
When you'll click on the item, item's link will be opened.
Q: I'm trying out the cross-browser (top to bottom) drop down menu and I was wondering if it was possible to have the top bar (the main items) use a background image while the sub-items beneath used a plain background color and no image?
So far I've gotten them to either both use a background image, or both use a background color. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)
A: Actually you can create any menu you like with Deluxe Menu.
You can use Individual Styles to set background image for the items
var itemStyles = [
["itemWidth=92px","itemBackImage=deluxe-menu.files/btn_black.gif,deluxe-menu.files/btn_black_blue.gif"],
];
oryou can use images instead of icons (you should delete item's text).

Q: I am using cross browser drop down menu and I would like to know how I can make a link which displays its target file in 2 frames at the same time.
The menu is placed on my main page and 2 other frames are placed at the same main page too. I would like to send parameters to the mentioed 2 frames from 1 menu item to 2 frames at the same time.
Is it possible?
A: You should call javascript function onClick
function openlinks()
{ window.open('testlink_1.htm','frame3');
window.open('testlink_2.htm','frame2');
}
["||How To Setup","javascript:openlinks()"],
Q: Now it works fine in Firefox and mostly in IE.... Only problem... In IE...
When the page with dhtml tab menu first loads ... It does not load the content of the first DIV....
It's fine in Firefox...now IE just does not load the first div... I've tried added a JS function to set to visible the first DIV onLoad...but that does not work either...
Is there anyway to hard-code in ...to set the first DIV to visible?
A: I've just checked your website. Your dhtml tab menu work correctly.
You should check that you use correct value of
var bselectedItem=1;
parameter.
That is mean that second item in menuItems array will be highlighted.

Now you have also:
<script type="text/javascript" src="data-deluxe-tabs.js"></script>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="500">
<tr>
<td align=center valign=top>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width=500 height=250 align=center>
<tr>
<td valign=top height=1>
<script type="text/javascript" src="../scripts/templates/tabs-opera.js"></script>
</td>
</tr>
I think that it is not correct. You should write:
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="500">
<tr>
<td align=center valign=top>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width=500 height=250 align=center>
<tr>
<td valign=top height=1>
<script type="text/javascript" src="data-deluxe-tabs.js"></script>
</td>
</tr>
