A: You should specify any Object ID name of the DIV.

See, for each java text menu item you should assign the ID property of the contentDIV (see data file with your menu parameters).

we want to delete menuentry 'Sample1' and do
dm_ext_deleteItem(2, 4, 0)

This raises an error but according to your javascript menu master manual the first argument should be the menuindex ....which is 2 in our opinion.

A: See, if you have several menus on your page they will have differentID's, for example:

<script type="text/javascript" src="menu/data1.js"></script> //ID=0

<script type="text/javascript" src="menu/data2.js"></script> //ID=1

<script type="text/javascript" src="menu/data3.js"></script> //ID=2

<script type="text/javascript" src="menu/data4.js"></script> //ID=3

So, if you have only one menu on your test page you should use ID=0

Q: What I meant was that there is an API function dm_ext_changeItem that allows you to specify 8 dropdown menu parameters in an array. What if I only want to change one of them like the link for example? What do I specify in my function call to leave the other 7 parameters unchanged? Do I specify the existing values? Q: How can I make the submenus appear much more quickly for the javascript expand menu?They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximately one second.

A: Try to adjust the following parameters:

  var transDuration2=200;

You can also turn off transitional effects
