Q: Tree menu doesn't display properly in Firefox or IE7. Could you give me advice on how to correct this problem? The menu creates black 'blinds' horizontally across the page. Since IE7 will be rolling out soon I need to get this corrected sometime in the next couple weeks.
A: Try to specify units in "px".

Q: I am just starting to work with deluxe menu for a site that I am developing. I will soon be going through the purchase of a license but have not yet reached that point.
At the moment though, as I build the framework for the site locally on my computer, I notice that the menu behave a looks differently in IE 6 and Firefox (I am focusing on a CSS base menu). Is this something that will be worked out once I have purchased the licensing key or is there something else that I am missing?
A: Deluxe Menu works fine in all browsers.
Try to set exact width for the menu width and menu height, try to specify unitsin "px":

You should also check your padding parameter, you should write it so:

Q: I am having some trouble placing the menu drop down vertical in frontpage. Does your company have a toll free number and some kind of tech support for the frontpage material. We are very interested in your program.
A: Unfortunately, we don't provide support by phone, e-mail only.
See, you should do the following things.
1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.
2. Export the menu into html file "File/Export/To HTML".
3. Copy generated folder with all engine .js files and images
("deluxe-menu.files/" by default) and data-deluxe-menu.js (by default) into the same folder with you index.html page (created inFrontPage).
4. Now you should add several rows of code into your index.html file.
You can do it in FrontPage (open HTML source of the page and edit it)or in any text editor. Open your index.html page and edit it.
Notice that you'll have errors in the Preview. But you won't get errors if you open this page in the browser.
5. Add the following code in the tag:

6. Save your index.html page and open it in any browser.
Q: I would like to create navigation menu where the background is transparent until you move the mouse over itwhen it turns to a color. I erased the first color number from the list and that worked, but when I scrolled the mouse over the links, the background stayed light blue even though the mouse was no longer over them. Is there a way to let the background start transparent, turn light blue when the mouse is over it, then go back to transparent after the mouse is off it?
A: You can use transparent parameter, for example:
