Q: What can I tell people who aren't seeing their drop-down menu? For example, I have a client who can't see his on his machine, while I can on see the menu on one of my machines but not the other.

Please advise what makes the difference and how to correct the problem.

A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content. So, you cannotsee your javascript menu at all.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

You can generate search engine friendly code.
Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

Q: How does an item on the simple html menu connect to pages?

A: You should create menu items in the Deluxe Tuner and specify link and target for each item, for example:

Q: I have placed my horizontal menu in javascript (1003 px width) in a table whose width is 1003px my dropdowns span from extreme left to extreme right (screen shots attached) by default the dropdown is leaving 20 pixels margins on both the ends which disturbs my layout. This happens when my screen resolution is 1024 x 768, when viewed in higher or wide screen monitors this problem does not arise. Please suggest a solution.

A: This is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open engine file for horizontal menu in javascript - dmenu.js - file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.
